Life is a learning opportunity.
Each of our experiences contains valuable seeds we can harvest for learning. Some of the most important learning we do is about ourselves. As we reflect on our experiences, we begin to see how life is helping us to learn what we need to become healthier and happier.
There is something to be learned in any difficult situation that can strengthen you for other situations in life. In this frame of mind you are able to look at life as an adventure, with something to teach you. And no matter what happens, you win, because you are always learning.
There are many ways to learn something. Sometimes when we say, "I'm not good at that," what we mean is that we haven't learned it yet. You may not want to, and that's fine. But there may be things you would like to learn. These can be physical or mental skills, or any combination.
The first step is deciding that you are open to learning. The second step is deciding what you want to learn. The third step is putting your attention on how you will learn it. Whatever you choose to do, there will always be learning opportunities. That’s the nature of life.
